WHY STRONG LEADERSHIP MATTERS

Under strong leadership, Bountiful has grown and blossomed in many positive ways. There isn’t a lot of room for new development but given what we have, the ambiance and the charm of our city has greatly improved over these last 8 years.

One of the many things I have accomplished as the mayor, was to negotiate an extra $25,000 from Davis County that went towards the new facade of The Book Garden on Main Street. The Book Garden has been in business for 36 years and it has been a pleasure to see the store's improvement. The buildings along Main Street are eclectic and beautiful . I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the different committees as mayor that provide funds for these type of improvements. The $25,000 Investment is a great asset to our city.

Another benefit of our beautiful Main Street is the filming of Hallmark Christmas holiday shows. It has been fun to see snow in the summer months. Bountiful's Main Street is alive and well with all kinds of different activities that everyone can enjoy! Boutique shopping on Main Street, ice cream, the park, the car show, Vito's good food, and other activities make Bountiful a great place to raise a family!
