HEY, BOUNTIFUL FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS – YOU’RE ALL IN CHARGE!

PLEASE HELP US DESIGN THE NEW TEN-ACRE CITY PARK

August 31st, September 15th, and September 29th

6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Bountiful City Hall

On of the things I’m most pleased about as your mayor has been the enormous effort the city has made to build new parks around design elements suggested by Bountiful’s residents. We really knock ourselves out to gather public design input, and this was especially noteworthy in designing Bountiful’s popular and award-winning Town Square.

We’re looking for an encore from ALL OF YOU, because it’s YOUR PARK! These meetings are “listening meetings,” and we’ll be collecting your suggestions and then come back with visual options and a process to gauge specific reactions to various proposed elements.

This is a really big deal, and we feel strongly that the new park ought to suit the needs and interests of the people who’ll use it. Please select one of the dates that works for your family and spend some quality time making Bountiful an even better place to live!

More information is available on the city website, social media, and e-newsletter. In case, if you don’t exactly know where the new park will be, it’s the site of Washington Elementary School, at 450 West 740 South. Check it out!
